Truly a secret slice of heaven in LA. Every time I visit I feel like I’m walking into a private paradise. Beautiful beautiful trees. Some over 100 years old! The first week I moved to LA I bought a jade plant that I cherished. Unfortunately I had a rowdy party where someone knocked it off the counter and shattered the pot. I went straight back to Fely who repotted it for me. Go visit here and buy something to support an actual small business!

A modest private garden. Call first to make sure they're home. The owners are very sweet. Patient. Street parking. They are the real deal and you can tell they love to grow these bonsai. They have both newer trees for people starting out to high premium options for your luxury atrium or mansion garden centerpiece. Definitely coming back for a bigger garden piece once I'm more experienced. They had great ficus forest bonsai options and junipers. They also provide service to care for your bonsai if you're on vacation or out of town for their clients.

Gorgeous bonsai plants at this nursery. Very knowledgeable and kind people to have met and bought from. Highly recommend to anyone who is interested in Bonsai.

A little background: purchased our first bonsai tree (elm) 7 years ago in Fresno. Needed to repot in LA and found Exotic Bonsai based on reviews. Awesome experience! The owner is so knowledgeable, honest and his love for bonsai comes through in his work. I love that he works from home and not a retail shop. Big recommendation for your trees' needs!!!
